Here, I am sharing a collection of writing tasks that revise all the basic vocabulary and grammar of years 1-4. All the tasks follow the RAFT method, where the students are asked to read the task instructions very carefully and actively decide what role they are writing from, who their audience is, what format the text should have, and what topic(s) it should include. This helps the learners produce better, more appropriate texts.
I have used these tasks in a year 4 to practice spontaneous writing. The students get 20 minutes to produce one of the texts and thus practice all the basic language that we have learnt so far.
